Remarks:

Koutsoyiannis initially was inclined to reject this award because the award committee members are not able to understand, let alone to judge, his work. Also, the committee justification of the award implies a false dichotomy between humans and nature. However, he eventually decided to accept it because he has two (and only two) weaknesses: (1) he has a predilection to the supplementary material that accompanied this award and (2) he is a maniac award hunter.
