Remarks:

This video shows a rehearsal for the "Distinguished Speakers Luncheon Lecture", delivered on October 16, 2001. This rehearsal contains at least three slips: (1) the first reference to the boundary of the Vltava river basin says it is highlighted in blue; it should read in yellow; (2) in one instance import of Czech beer is mentioned; it should read export; (3) World War 1 is once wrongly referred to as World War 2. The music at the end has been stopped after a few bars because of the camera-generated noise for which the author sincerely apologizes.
